Barrasso Usdin Kupperman Freeman & Sarver, L.L.C. is a litigation law firm based in New Orleans, Louisiana. We are hiring for a litigation secretary to assist 3 - 5 attorneys. Ideal candidates should have 3 years of law firm experience, 70 wpm typing speed, excellent computer skills (including familiarity with Microsoft Office and Adobe), experience with electronic filings in State & Federal Courts, and excellent accuracy, grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills. The candidate must work well with others, and have strong organizational skills and good attention to detail. Familiarity with digital dictation is a plus. Experience working with insurance defense attorneys preferred.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:15 p.m., 1-hour lunch, occasional overtime
